Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Wabasca-Desmarais is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join an interprofessional care team. You will provide safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centred care guided by your training and applicable standards.

You will work within the Acute Care setting at a 0.80 FTE and support shift patterns that include days and nights. A remote retention allowance up to $3,000 annually is available, with hourly pay based on the base rate.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA (Alberta).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Your Opportunity

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Required Qualifications
