About us

Richmond Square Medical Centre is a multidisciplinary Specialist and Family Medicine clinic. We take pride in being a friendly, organized and detail-oriented practice and we are looking for a multitasker to join us!

We are currently looking to fill one full-time LPN position to work primarily with our OB/Gyne and Family physicians.

Located in SW Calgary, close to the new ring road.

General nursing duties such as:

  • Collecting Patients from waiting room, checking vitals, obtaining brief history
  • Obtaining fetal Measurement and fetal heartrate (OB/Gyne specific)
  • Supporting physicians with direct patient care, as well as phone follow ups when necessary
  • Assisting Physicians with Minor procedures
  • Potentially assist 1 day per week in our medical laser clinic
  • Autoclaving/Sterilization of instruments
  • Triaging/prioritizing patient care based on nursing assessment
  • Collect/Process Samples for Lab testing
  • Injections and Immunizations
  • Administrative tasks such as referrals and patient follow-up
  • Manage Surgical Bookings (OB/Gyne specific)

A successful candidate will:

  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience working in a clinical setting (Experience with the Med Access EMR and Connect Care is an asset but will provide training).
  • Conduct themselves in a friendly and professional manner
  • Be able to undertake a variety of diverse tasks while working both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Be up to date with relevant education and certification

LPN certification required - Must be registered and in good standing with the CLPNA

Immunization certification required

Phlebotomy certification is an asset

**Please only apply if you have at least 2 years clinical experience either in the hospital or a clinic setting**

We are looking for 1 full-time LPN who can work Monday-Friday.
