Job summary

Wadatek Solutions Inc. is seeking a licensed plumber to support residential, commercial, municipal, industrial and occasional mining projects in Ontario. The role involves installation, repair and maintenance of water distribution and wastewater systems, reading blueprints, and working on varied sites.

Regular Monday to Friday shifts with overtime and weekends; on-call about 8 weeks per year. Part-time applications encouraged and a signing bonus from $1,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of plumbing experience preferred.
• Must be licensed plumber.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• CPIC clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual is an asset.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures, pumps, valves, water meters and other plumbing equipment/systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
• Assist with cost estimates.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors; cut openings to fit pipes and fittings.
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Work in confined spaces.

• Work in confined spaces
