Evaluate client financial profiles, credit stories, and property documents to solve complex lending scenarios across subprime and private spaces.
Write clear, thorough underwriting notes and structure complete submission packages to minimize lender conditions and accelerate approval turnaround times.
Prioritize dynamic pipelines, efficiently manage multi-file deadlines, and adapt quickly to shifting lender requirements without sacrificing quality.
Work closely with lenders, lawyers, appraisers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate smooth, timely closings and ensure each application is processed accurately and efficiently.
Work closely with lenders, appraisers, and legal partners to resolve condition roadblocks promptly through funding.
Maintain strict compliance standards in alignment with FSRA guidelines and internal protocols across all files.
Experience built for complex underwriting.
Active FSRA Level 2 Mortgage Agent License (Ontario) is strongly preferred.
Minimum two years of subprime and private mortgage underwriting experience, with brokerage experience preferred.
Proven analytical capability, rock-solid attention to detail, and top-tier stress-management skills in high-volume environments.
Fluent with CRM management systems such as Salesforce, deal-submission portals, and Microsoft Office.
