Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Job description

Position: Licensed Millwright
Location: Niagara Falls, ON area
Salary: $43 - $44 hourly
Industry: Manufacturing / Food / Millwright / Skilled Trades
Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent
Shift: Weekly rotations (Days/Afternoons/Nights)
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and PM of plant equipment and machinery
  • Responsible for Food Safety and reporting any non-compliance issues immediately
  • Assembling and installing all machines and ensuring they work correctly
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair breakdown of equipment as needed
  • Ensure minimal downtime in the production process and maximize efficiency
  • Providing training and support to the team as needed.
  • Additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Valid Millwright Certification (433-A)
  • 3– 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Able to work rotating shifts: days, afternoons, nights, and some occasional weekends
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
