Job description

Location: London, Ontario
Category: Build Operate Maintain
Job Status: Hourly Full-Time
Shifts Available: 1st or 2nd
Pay Rate: $39.50/hour (with potential increases through additional training)
License Required: Must hold a valid Millwright License


About the Role
As a Licensed Millwright at Cargill, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical expertise will directly support food production.

What You Need

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
• Valid Millwright License
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
• Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Able to work in confined spaces

What You’ll Do
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
• Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations
• Other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Welding certification or other trade experience
• Forklift certification
• Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
• Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
