Job description

Licensed Mechanical Technician / Apprentice

Emeryville Auto Centre is a full-service Mechanical Facility offering great opportunities in Automotive Repair. We utilize the latest repair technologies, software, and mechanical practices. With over 40 years of service in the Lakeshore area, we provide a stable work environment with growth opportunities and employee benefits. We are moving into a new, state-of-the-art facility, offering the right candidate the chance to work with modern equipment.

Our team of skilled technicians is dedicated to quality repairs and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a full-time Licensed Mechanical Technician / Apprentice to join us.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles and perform test drives for diagnostics
  • Read and understand work orders and repair procedures
  • Work with various metals, plastics, glass, electrical, and mechanical parts
  • Use alignment measuring equipment and other tools
  • Repair and replace components such as tie rods, wheel bearings, calipers, etc.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Apprentice or Fully Licensed Mechanic with at least one year of experience
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot using modern technology and equipment
  • Proficiency with automotive scanners and computers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
Additional Details

This is a full-time position, 42.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
