Job summary

Mikey’s Garage is seeking a Licensed Mechanic (310S) Automotive Technician or a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice. The position offers guaranteed part-time hours with the potential for full-time work. Candidates should have their own hand tools and general knowledge of mechanical repairs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of all mechanical repairs (all makes/models).
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Welding (mig) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose drivability issues using shop scanners.
• Perform mechanical repairs and confirm repairs made.
• Maintain general shop upkeep between jobs.

Licensed Mechanic (310S) Automotive Technician or a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice

Mikey’s Garage has an opening for a Licensed Mechanic (310S) Automotive Technician or a 2 nd or 3 rd Year Apprentice.

• Guaranteed part-time hours to start, with potential for full-time
• Full G license required
• Wage to be discussed, based on experience
• Ability to work within a team, or with limited supervision when solo
• Dependable transportation required, not on a local bus route
• Punctual
• Committed and willing to work
• Able to communicate with all members of the team
• General shop upkeep between jobs and in downtime

Qualifications

• Own hand tools required, others tools/equipment supplied by shop
• Able to weld (mig) preferred (able to be taught if need be)
• General knowledge of all mechanical repairs (all makes/models)
• Able to utilize shop scanners to diagnose drivability issues
• S, S& D – drive, diagnose, repair and able to confirm repairs made fix customer initial concerns
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
