The Seaboard Transport Group in Dartmouth, NS is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join a close-knit, family-owned team. You’ll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of equipment while engaging with colleagues in a service-focused environment.

This role emphasizes safety, professional communication, and ongoing training. Red Seal certification is required, with B620 inspector experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• B620 inspector experience an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers or welding is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.
