The Seaboard Transport Group in Calgary, AB is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our team. You will perform maintenance and repair tasks, participate in safety meetings, and contribute to a professional work environment.

This role emphasizes quality service and compliance with safety standards while supporting a close-knit, family-owned culture. Ideal candidates hold a Red Seal certification, have strong diagnostic and computer skills, and bring teamwork and professionalism to the shop.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification as a truck/trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector is asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.

Your Role:

What You Bring to the Table:

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.


• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).


• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.


• Proficiency with computers.


• High level of professionalism and teamwork.


• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
