Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Financial Advisor.
  • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in good standing required.
  • MFDA or IIROC licensed or willing to obtain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of contact for customers requesting to meet with a PlanRight advisor
  • Conduct meetings over the phone and record activities using Salesforce
  • Address customer questions, review their Manulife Group Retirement Savings plan, and assess other financial needs
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions tailored to clients’ financial situations and goals
  • Handle sales transactions over the phone and refer clients to second-tier advisors for holistic planning
  • Communicate proactively with clients, resolve issues, and follow up as needed
  • Provide back-office support to elite second-tier advisors
Manage your pipeline and achieve results
  • Manage sales pipeline with a high closing rate
  • Follow up on leads provided by Manulife
  • Share best practices and strategies with peers
Ongoing Training & Development
  • Participate in onboarding and create a professional development plan
  • Engage in coaching and ongoing training sessions
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of successful experience as a Financial Advisor
  • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in good standing
  • MFDA or IIROC licensed or willing to obtain prior to start
  • Certified Financial Planning designation or in process
  • Knowledge of Manulife products and systems is an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce and Conquest is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Completed formal sales training
Skills required:
  • Understanding of regulatory/legal issues affecting life insurance and investments
  • Experience developing and presenting financial plans
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented
