Job summary

El Gaucho Hospitality is seeking an Electrician - Construction and Maintenance to plan, install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems across residential, commercial and industrial settings. You will read blueprints, select devices, and verify functionality, while ensuring accurate records are kept.

The role requires a valid 309A licence, experience in multiple sectors, and strong written and verbal communication. A smartphone is needed, and a valid driver’s licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid 309A Ontario Licence.
• Must have residential, commercial, and industrial experience.
• Must have effective written and oral communication, troubleshooting skills, organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must have a smart phone.
• A valid driver’s licence is an asset.
• Fire Alarm Technician Licence an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, assembles, installs, repairs, maintains, connects and/or tests electrical systems.
• Plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications, and installs all electrical and electronic devices.
• Systematically diagnoses faults in electrical and electronic components, as required.
• Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles and installs conduits and other electrical conductor raceways.
• Splices and terminates electrical conductors.
• Tests electrical and electronic equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly.
• Maintains detailed records and submits in a timely manner.
