THE PERKS

COMPENSATION

• Starting at $35.00/hour for in-vehicle instruction, with potential bonuses up to $7.00/hour.
• Additional $1.00/hour for Luxury or Hybrid vehicles.
• $2,500 Signing Bonus: $1,000 at hiring, $1,500 after first instructor evaluation.

What You’ll Do As An Instructor

• Report to the Field Manager, Driver Education.
• Provide quality instruction following AMA standards.
• Offer constructive feedback to develop student skills and confidence.
• Manage student scheduling and paperwork.
• Follow Alberta Transportation guidelines.
• Be available after school, evenings, and weekends.

Summary Of Requirements

• Provincial Vehicle Instructor licence from Alberta Transportation.
• Current driver abstract.
• Vehicle no more than six years old.
• Full availability (no part-time candidates considered).
• Incorporation and WCB number required upon hiring and after training.
