Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience leading to knowledge of avionic systems.
• Ability to lift at least 32 lb. overhead.
• Hold an Avionics 'E' license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of avionic systems.
• Fabricate and install interconnecting wiring between major units.
• Assist in removal and re-installation of interior furnishings.

Skills

Knowledge of AC-DE electronic theory

Understanding of aircraft audio systems

Familiarity with communication and navigation equipment

Ability to perform functional testing

Interpret engineering drawings

Education

Relevant trade school diploma or suitable apprenticeship

College degree in Avionics or equivalent
