Licensed Automotive Technician

30 / hour base pay plus Bonus and Benefits

Responsibilities

As a Midas automotive technician, you’ll be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:

• Diagnostics using computer systems
• Tire repair and replacement
• Heating and air conditioning systems
• Steering and suspension
• Belt and hose replacement
• Radiator and cooling systems
• Battery, starting, and charging systems
• Brake repairs
• Mufflers and exhaust services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team
• High personal productivity
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards
• Experience with shop equipment (lifts, diagnostic tools, alignment machines)
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
