Job description

Canarino Nissan is currently looking for a licensed Automotive Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing general vehicle repairs and maintenance functions to ensure vehicles run efficiently and safely for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the required tasks from work orders efficiently and accurately, applying dealer and manufacturer standards.
• Determine the cause of any defects and complete approved repairs.
• Inspect vehicles to determine whether additional safety or maintenance work is required or recommended.
• Contact the service advisor as soon as possible if additional work is required or if the diagnosis changes.
• Document clearly all work performed on the work order.
• Road test vehicles before and after repairs.
• Report any defective or poorly functioning equipment to their supervisor.
• Ensure customers' vehicles are kept clean and report any incidents that may affect the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
• Keep the shop and bay clean and tidy.
• Report any safety issues to management immediately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A 310S license as an automotive technician.
