Qualifications

  • Valid technician license required.

NewRoads Toyota Newmarket, a division of the NewRoads Automotive Group, is hiring a Licensed Technician to work in our busy shop. This is a great opportunity to join an established brand with high earning potential.

Responsibilities of a Licensed Technician include :

  • Maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety and satisfaction;
  • Performing vehicle maintenance and repairs;
  • Diagnosing malfunctions and performing repairs;
  • Inspecting vehicles for safety or additional service needs;
  • Providing written, prioritized quotes for additional work;
  • Explaining procedures and repairs to the Service Advisor;
  • Performing road tests and safety inspections;
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work and teamwork spaces.

Qualifications :

  • Valid technician license;
  • Valid G class driver’s license with a clean abstract;
  • Ability to learn new technology and procedures;
  • Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and functions;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • High integrity and work ethic.
