Job description
Overview

Barrie Chrysler is seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles to the highest quality standards. You will ensure that all work complies with manufacturer specifications, safety guidelines, and dealership procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and perform vehicle repairs and maintenance on all makes and models, with a focus on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.
  • Perform inspections, safety checks, oil changes, brake work, suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and other mechanical services.
  • Use diagnostic tools and OEM software to identify issues and perform repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Complete work orders, inspection sheets, and reports accurately and timely.
  • Communicate findings and repair options to the Service Advisor and / or customers when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and tools.
  • Stay current with factory technical bulletins, certifications, and training.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Mentor apprentices when applicable and contribute to a team-oriented shop culture.
Qualifications
  • Valid and current Automotive Technician License
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools and software
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
