Reporting to the Service Manager, as a qualified technician you arecapable of diagnosing problems and carrying out repairs in several areas or allareas. May specialize in specific repair areas. As a team member, youcontribute to the overall success of the department-specific quality of work,service standards, and CSI results.

Service Technician:Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 5:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform workspecified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance withdealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drivevehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools andspecial service equipment.
• Diagnose,maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine,transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning,etc.
• Communicatedirectly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed ofany additional services needed.
• Provide anestimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Executingrepairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Validdriver's license and a clean driving record
• 3+ years ofService Technician experience required
• A-levelqualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Broadknowledge of new vehicle technologies
• Ambitious,hardworking presence in a team environment
• Positive,friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
