The Details:

• Permanent, Full-Time positions available for licensed Electricians
• Shift Timings: Nights - Sunday to Thursday - 11PM to 7:30AM
• Hourly Rate: $43/hour + $2 overnight premium = $45/hour
• End times vary based on production; flexibility is necessary
• Work environment: Pork processing facility

Job Tasks:

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain and repair all mechanical equipment in the plant
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), predictive maintenance (PDMs), corrective maintenance (CM), and work orders
• Prioritize and multitask effectively
• Repair and work on conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and packaging equipment
• Proficient in TIG welding
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Assist with installation of equipment
• Follow GMP and maintenance-specific GMP rules
• Address work requests and implement corrective actions
• Manage inventory and labor using computerized maintenance systems

Requirements:

• Valid 442A or 309A Electrical license
• Industrial knowledge and PLC experience are assets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including repetitive tasks and extended standing
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
• Work under conditions such as extreme heat or cold
• Minimum 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Effective communication skills in English
• Own tools required
• Previous electrician experience
