Job summary

First Student is hiring a Licensed 310T Mechanic to service buses in Mississauga‑Wolfedale, ON. The role offers a Monday‑Friday day shift with year‑round work and a pay rate of $45.35 per hour plus ASE bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, RRSP match, and more.

As a technician, you will maintain and repair buses, perform PMs and inspections, work with a skilled team, and participate in ASE certification to advance within over 540 locations in the U.S. & Canada.

Qualifications

• 310T license and diesel/auto maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Possession of a mechanic's tool set.
• Willingness to participate in ASE certification program (training, testing, and bonuses provided).
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair school buses to ensure safety and reliability.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, engines, suspensions, drive trains and transmissions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Assist with mobile emergency repair services when needed.
