Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both heavy-duty construction equipment and trucks, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a valid 310T mechanic license and have experience with Caterpillar and Navistar equipment. Flexibility to work various shifts is essential, as well as a valid driver's license for travel to job sites. Job description

$40/hr-$42/hr, + Night shift Premium: $4/hr

Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Mobile)

$46/hr as long as they have a valid AZ or DZ driver's license, + Night shift Premium: $4/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be a registered licensed mechanic through Skilled Trades Ontario. Licensed 310T mechanic (Truck and Coach Technician 310T).
2. Must have the skillset to diagnose and carry out repairs efficiently.
3. Comfortable working on both heavy-duty construction equipment and trucks.
4. Experience working on Caterpillar and Navistar equipment would be an asset.
5. Experience fabricating/welding would be an asset.
6. Must be available to work various shifts (i.e. day, afternoon, evening, weekends as required).
7. Possess a valid G class driver’s license, as some travel to jobsites is required.
8. Possession of an AZ license is an asset.
