A large school board in Eastern Ontario is seeking a part-time School Library Technician to manage library operations, including organizing materials and providing reference services. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Library and Information Technician and relevant experience. The position offers flexibility with 17.5 hours per week and a salary between $26.22 to $32.67 per hour.

SCHOOL LIBRARY TECHNICIAN
Location: Forest Valley ES
Position Status: 50% Regular, Part-time
Work Year: 10 month work year
Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week (flexible)
Affiliation: OSSTF District 25 - Educational Support Professionals (ESP)
Salary Rate: $26.22 to $32.67 per hour (Level 5)
Under the direction of the Principal or designate, the Library Technician will provide technical and public services and perform other duties related to library operations such as organizing, maintaining, selecting, ordering, circulating print and non-print materials, providing reference services, researching and preparing support materials for units of study, and performing public relations, supervisory, and clerical activities.
