Your primary responsibility will be to support the library's daily operations and ensure the efficient handling and organization of library materials.
Tasks
Handle check-ins and check-outs using the SYMPHONY system.
Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, for library tasks and administration.
Label and organize physical materials.
Prepare surplus materials for disposal and manage the process.
Maintain binding lists, prepare materials for binding, and check quality.
Help with general library tasks like shelving, mail, photocopying, and sending materials.
Execute other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Job requirements
At least two (2) years of approved post-secondary education in library science or a related field.
6 months of experience shelving library materials in the past three years.
Recent experience with circulating library materials using systems.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Experience with the SYMPHONY system’s circulation and serials management is a plus.
