A school librarian manages the school library to support student learning and academic achievement. They curate and maintain a collection of books, digital resources, and learning tools that align with the curriculum. School librarians assist students and staff in locating and using information effectively, promote reading and literacy, and teach research and digital literacy skills. They collaborate with teachers, integrate technology into instruction, and create an engaging, inclusive environment that fosters a love of reading and lifelong learning.
Will be required to work at either of the Enoch Cree Nation Kitaskinaw Education Authority Buildings for an 8-hour shift in accordance with the ECN Human Resource Policy & Procedure Manual – Section C. May be required to work after hours and during weekends.
