As our Hospitality & Wine Club Liaison, you’ll be at the heart of our winery’s operations, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. This role offers a unique chance to grow within our company, learn about winery operations, and be part of a passionate team dedicated to exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Welcome and Serve Guests: Be the friendly face that greets our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and representing The Foreign Affair brand with pride.
  2. Lead Point of Contact: Beyond standard boutique duties, maintain continuous communication with the Hospitality Supervisor and prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with all winery information to answer questions from the team and guests confidently.
  4. Wine Club Liaison: Act as the primary contact for wine club member requests in the absence of the Sales Coordinator, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  5. Efficient Communication: Relay messages and action items from wine club member requests to the Sales Coordinator and communicate weekend activities for follow-up throughout the week.
  6. Tech-Savvy: Navigate wine club software confidently to manage member updates and cancellations, and troubleshoot technology issues with platforms like Shopify, Tock, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
  7. Detail-Oriented: Monitor shared email inboxes, process orders with high attention to detail, and oversee merchandise inventory, pricing, and signage.

Applicant Requirements Include :

  1. Previous Experience: A seasoned hospitality professional with a positive attitude and proactive nature.
  2. Administrative experience is an asset.
  3. 2-3 years of experience in hospitality service (hotel, restaurant, winery, etc.).
  4. Wine Passion: A genuine passion and knowledge about wine.
  5. Smart Serve Certified: Must have certification to serve alcohol.
  6. Weekend Availability: Must be able to work weekends. (Schedule is Thurs to Mon 10am – 6pm)
  7. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
