Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV Driver for AM shift in Vauxhall. You will operate LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers. You’ll work outdoors, using initiative and supporting local environments and communities.

The role requires a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, knowledge of tachographs and road safety, and good communication with customers. Training is provided, with company benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Days of work: Thursday to Monday
Start Time: 04.00AM
£19.46p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
