Candidates should have a Masters degree in a relevant area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LG instructors are asked to attend LG Advisory meetings (approximately two per year) as well as instructor team meetings as needed. Feedback from students and evaluation by the Division Head will ensure high-quality teaching. Communication with other instructors is encouraged to ensure consistency across the program.
This course will be offered online. Candidates are responsible for ensuring the course material and curriculum meet current municipal sector and university standards. Candidates should have a good understanding of post-secondary academic standards and possess strong communication and analytical skills to provide effective feedback on student assignments and exams.
The course will be delivered asynchronously online. Familiarity with UR Courses is an asset.
