Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 7:40am - 5:15pm

Friday 7:40am - 1:15pm

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation

  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour, & educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.

  • Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols (IPAC) for each patient (instrument sterilization, maintain logs

  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols

  • Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements


About You:

  • 2+ yrs experience as a Dental Assistant preferred

  • CPR Certification (required)

  • HARP certification (required)

  • NDAEB Certification: Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examining Board is an asset (NDAEB)

  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

  • Education: Graduated from applicable Dental Assisting Program (Level ll)
