We are currently recruiting for Crane Operators with an A Ticket to join the team at a Buildings project in Coquitlam!

This position is in Coquitlam, BC and does not include camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.

It follows a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

A tower crane operator is responsible for operating tower cranes and has extensive knowledge of materials and equipment used in the industry. A strong commitment to safety regulations and standards is essential.

In this role, you will :

  • Clean, lubricate, and maintain the crane regularly
  • Perform thorough daily inspections of the crane and monitor its performance to prevent malfunctions and damage
  • Complete specific work orders with detailed information for acknowledgment and troubleshooting
  • Apply mechanical expertise and advanced troubleshooting skills to assist operations, maintenance, and technical personnel in resolving equipment issues
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and complete logs and inspection reports as per OHSA regulations
  • Have extensive knowledge of the lifting capacities of tower cranes and ensure no load exceeds the specified weight

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Tower Crane Level A ticket - REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in an industrial setting
  • Experience working on fast-paced high-rise projects
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting overhead cranes is an asset
