Our client is currently seeking a qualified Part-Time Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Ontario, CA. This is a long-term contract position slated to go 1-year with annual extensions. This position is working Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 11:00am.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide first / second level contact and problem resolution
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printer and computer hardware
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware and software
  • Resolve issues, repair, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile printers, handheld devices, and conveyer belts and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of IT experience
  • Broad experience of IT with understanding of networks
  • Experience with Zebra printers is a plus
  • Must be adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing industry and work environment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility is highly desired
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal customer service skills
  • This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
  • Certifications are preferred, but not required

Wage Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $22.50 - $34.10 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

W2 only, no Corp to Corp. We are unable to sponsor H-1B visas at this time.
