Position Overview:

The IT Support I position has a significant impact on efficient service delivery and is focused on assessing end user device hardware and software requests via our Information Technology Service Management Helpdesk tool. The IT Customer Support I role is also engaged in other work supporting the resort (e.g., operational process improvement, process development, documentation, strategic planning, projects, etc.). Team coordination, both internal and external, is needed to work with systems, business, vendors, etc. to interpret customer needs, assess requirements, and identify solutions to non-standard requests. This is an exciting role that is responsible for making quick decisions and facilitating the creation of standards that assist the Resort’s day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide the first level of technical support to staff and departments. Duties include:
  2. Receiving and responding to initial helpdesk requests for IT support.
  3. Participating in the setup and maintenance of computer software, hardware, and systems.
  4. Printer install and maintenance (Printer setup on user’s profile in Windows).
  5. General knowledge and use of the SVSI system on the property.
  6. Setup and install of digital displays across the property.
  7. Assisting with major projects as needed.
Education and Experience:

• Experience working with technology is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  1. Experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent demands required.
  2. Must have 1 to 2 years of related IT customer service experience within the last 5 years.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
  4. Must have strong cognitive, analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong customer service attitude.
  5. Must be able to demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  6. Must have previous experience with creating standard documentation.
  7. Must have the ability to set and meet personal deadlines and adapt to changes in priority.
  8. Must have the ability to work in a team environment and have previous experience in coordinating teams. Must be self-motivated, with limited supervision.
  9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  10. Available to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts as required.
  11. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than 4 hours per day.
