Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Trois-Rivières is seeking an Lessons Teacher to join our on-site Lesson Centre. The role involves teaching drums and other instruments to students of various ages on a contract basis in a busy community setting.

The successful candidate will follow standard teaching methods and curricula, work evenings and weekends, and contribute to a friendly, learning-focused environment at 6125, rue Corbeil.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one of: music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments.
• Professional equivalency.
• Must have teaching experience with all ages.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Work as independent contractors.
• Participate in on-site Lesson Centres offering a range of instrument lessons.
