Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Ottawa, ON invites qualified teachers to join its Lesson Centres. The role is as an independent contractor teaching violin and potentially other instruments to students of various ages.

Work is weekday, weeknights and weekends in an on-site setting at 1193 Hunt Club Road. Candidates should hold a music degree or diploma (or equivalent), have formal teaching experience, and know standard curricula.

Qualifications

• A music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments.
• Professional equivalency.
• Must have previous teaching experience with all ages of students.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum.
