An established industry player is seeking passionate and skilled Lessons Teachers to join their team as independent contractors. This role involves providing music lessons in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, and voice, at on-site Lesson Centres. Ideal candidates will possess a music degree or equivalent qualifications, along with proven teaching experience across all age groups. You will be responsible for applying effective teaching methods and developing lesson curriculums that inspire students. • The majority of Long & McQuade stores have on-site Lesson Centres that offer lessons in piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings, and voice.

Job Requirements

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following:

1. a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College
2. a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
3. professional equivalency

• Must have previous teaching experience with all ages of students.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum in the private or group lesson situation is required.
