Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Sorel-Tracy, QC, is seeking a Lessons Teacher to provide private or group instruction as an independent contractor. Lessons cover piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.

Candidates must hold a music degree or diploma, or have RCM Grade 8 with Grade 2 Rudiments or professional equivalency, plus prior teaching experience with all ages. Strong knowledge of standard teaching methods and curricula is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one of the following: a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• RCM Grade 8 with Grade 2 Rudiments or professional equivalency.
• Previous teaching experience with all ages of students is required.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum in private or group lessons.

• Offer lessons in piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following:
