Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited is seeking lesson teachers to partner as independent contractors at our Pickering area stores. The role supports a range of instruments with on-site Lesson Centres serving diverse student ages.

Qualified candidates bring a music degree or diploma, Grade 8 RCM with Rudiments, or professional equivalency, plus proven teaching experience and knowledge of standard curricula. On-site teaching opportunities align with Long & McQuade's community lesson programs.

Qualifications

• Must have previous teaching experience with students of all ages.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum in private or group lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons across piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.
• Operate as an independent contractor for Long & McQuade stores with on-site Lesson Centres.
• Maintain lesson plans and track student progress to support skill development.
