Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited is seeking lesson teachers to join our Cambridge, Ontario locations as independent contractors. The stores operate on-site Lesson Centres offering lessons in piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.

Candidates must hold a music degree or diploma or an equivalent credential such as Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments; teaching experience with all ages is required and familiarity with standard curricula is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have teaching experience with all ages of students.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curricula in private or group lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice at on-site Lesson Centres.
• Work as an independent contractor within Long & McQuade locations.

• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum in the private or group lesson situation is required
