Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited in Duncan, BC is seeking experienced music instructors to work as independent contractors at our local Lesson Centre. You will teach a range of instruments and voice to students of all ages in a friendly, supportive setting.

Candidates must have a music degree or diploma or equivalent, and proven teaching experience with diverse learners. Knowledge of standard curricula and teaching methods is required, with on-site instruction at 5871 York Road.

Qualifications

• Must have a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Must have a music degree or diploma or equivalent (RCM Grade 8 with Grade 2 Rudiments) or professional equivalency.
• Must have previous teaching experience with all ages of students.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curricula.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons in piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.
• Work as an independent contractor within Long & McQuade Lesson Centres.

Education

Music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College

RCM Grade 8 with Grade 2 Rudiments

Professional equivalency
