GENERAL FUNCTION

The Urgent Care Lead creates exceptional value in the lives of customers & patients by delivering to the Brand experience through execution of the brand value proposition. Ensures customers & patients are always happy and satisfied with purchase. Assists in the achievement of store success by managing key optical and lab processes & systems to exceptional results.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

While working in Lab, if applicable:

  1. Custom fits glasses & precisely places prescription in lenses
  2. Works with associates to strengthen their knowledge, skill, & certification for foundational product & store processes related to lens and lab technology
  3. Ensures finished eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirements
  4. Creates a safe working environment for all, demonstrates safe work practices
  5. Responsible for basic operation, cleaning & ongoing maintenance of lab tools & systems

While working in Retail:

  1. Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service
  2. Proactive & solution driven, accurate execution & product knowledge
  3. Assists customers with selections, provides recommendations, assists sales associates
  4. Serves as a responsible alternate store key holder
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. HS diploma/GED
  2. 1+ year experience
  3. Strong optical & retail experience
  4. Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise
  5. Strong communicator & listener
  6. Strong inter-personal skills
  7. Strong basic math skills
  8. Sales skills
  9. Problem solving ability
  10. Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators
  11. Leadership & training experience
  12. Edging & mounting experience
  13. Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. State licensure (if applicable) &/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states
  2. Eyewear Inspection Program Modules 1-6
  3. Quality Manufacturing Program Certified
  4. Optical machinery/instruments experience
  5. Customer service experience
  6. AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification
  7. Knowledge of current store merchandise & lens options

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
