Qualifications
Reporting to the System Coordinator of Alternative and Continuing Education, the Lenape Language Teacher will provide a Lenape language program at a site to be determined at Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit. Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit will provide support for the program with the provision of community knowledge keepers and language speakers.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification required;
- Lenape language proficiency required;
- Experience working with Indigenous students an asset;
- Experience with credit recovery and/or student success initiatives an asset.
Position Effective Date & Length - Duration & Schedule
9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Rate: $58.58/hour
