Your Role
  • Reporting into an Account Manager based in our global office in Vilnius, Lithuania, you will act independently and assist senior colleagues in the provision of corporate subsidiary governance services to clients with worldwide presence.
  • You will draft, review and file corporate and transactional documents and state forms for all stages of company lifecycle, i.e. from company incorporation through to dissolution, for clients in various provinces in accordance to legal requirements with agreed deadlines.
  • You will conduct due diligence, order certified documents, conduct searches, complete various filings.
  • You will help to coordinate and provide registered agent service, maintain necessary accesses, registrations and communicate with the appointed registered agents for the completion of services.
  • You will perform and/ or monitor statutory provincial and federal filings with authorities for portfolio of clients.
  • You will coordinate with clients, business partners and colleagues worldwide in order to gather information and/ or documentation required to carry out assignments.
  • You willensure that client’s, local, international and industry specific requirements are met and legal updates shared.
  • You will maintain data and documents as well as ensure proper reporting.
About You
  • You have a Paralegal License issued by the Law Society of Ontario and/or a Degree in Law.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in corporate law field,entity management, due diligence and corporate maintenance.
  • You have experience working with large multi-national clients based in different time zones.
  • You have workingexperience in client servicing and project management (international exposure is an asset).
  • You have ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a self-starter, and have the ability to work independently and understand when to escalate.
  • You have a sense of urgency,strong attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • You have anability to work with documents in French(highly desirable). Spoken fluencywould bean advantage
  • Notary Public commission would be an advantage.
