Our Client is a Toronto based boutique law firm, specializing in Real Estate, Family, and Estate Litigation. They are currently seeking a professional and experienced Legal Assistant to join their busy law practice.

Your new role

In this new role you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the law firm, performing various administrative functions including conflict checks, opening and closing files, and preparation of account related documents (i.e. docketing, billing summaries, etc). In this role you will also interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts and other relevant stakeholders via telephone and written communications.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience at a law firm. You should be a self-starter with keen attention to detail, and proofreading/grammar skills are essential for this role. Experience in Family Law, Wills and Estates, Real Estate, Corporate and/or Civil litigation is an asset.
