Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant based in Rothesay, New Brunswick. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing legal documents, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing support to legal professionals. Daily tasks include managing correspondence, maintaining legal files, scheduling appointments, trust accounting, transaction banking and conducting legal research as needed, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Law and experience with Legal Document Preparation

Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency in Administrative Assistance

Experience working as a Legal Assistant

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in work

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Bilingual (English/French) is an asset, but not required

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools
