A leading professional services firm is seeking a legal professional with experience in public company operations to manage compliance initiatives related to Employee Share Purchase Plans and equity compensation. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years' experience in legal roles focused on securities law. This position is based at the Global head office in Montreal and requires strong analytical and project management skills, as well as fluency in English.
The Opportunity: WSP is looking for a legal professional with public company experience to join its team at the Global head office in Montreal, QC. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation, you will lead and support compliance initiatives related to our Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) and equity compensation programs across multiple jurisdictions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong legal background in public company operations, securities law, and global regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include implementing and managing a global regulatory compliance program, focusing on Employee Share Purchase Plan & equity plans compliance for all countries, globally. The role will require coordination with global and regional teams, subject matter experts and external counsel.
