About the Role: We're looking for a Corporate Counsel to support our Canadian Mining Businesses. You'll provide legal advice on everyday operations, new development projects, and potential transactions. You'll collaborate with our global legal team and business units to foster an inclusive and connected working environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Offer legal guidance on commercial, corporate, regulatory, and Indigenous law matters.
  • Manage legal, commercial, and reputational risks through research and analysis.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents.
  • Stay updated on internal business changes and external legal developments.
  • Build strong relationships across legal teams and business functions.
  • Help maintain high governance and compliance standards.

What You Need:

  • 5-7 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporation.
  • Member of the bar in a Canadian province (U.S. bar membership is a plus).
  • Expertise in mining, corporate, litigation management, environmental, regulatory, and Indigenous law is ideal.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally.
  • Fluency in French and English (needed for collaboration across regions).
