Job summary

A law firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to handle a variety of tasks including coordinating information flow, managing appointments, training staff, and maintaining office procedures. The ideal candidate should possess high school graduation and have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as experience with MS Office. This position is strictly on-site with no remote work options available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of information.
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Train staff.
  • Maintain filing system.
  • Record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings or conferences.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents.
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
