Starting salary is $ 50,000 and may be negotiated based on experience and credentials.
The UBC Faculty of Dentistry invites applications for one (1) part-time lecturer position within the Dental Hygiene Degree Program (DHDP) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. The appointment will be at the rank of lecturer.
The applicant will be responsible for teaching credit courses in the DHDP and providing instruction and oversight to undergraduate students in all learning environments. They will collaborate with the DHDP Director and DHDP course coordinators.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the academic life and teach learners in the Faculty of Dentistry. They will be an innovative teacher who will integrate technologies and new approaches to learning into the DHDP curriculum. The successful individual must have:
The applicant must be a Dental Hygiene Practitioner with local anesthesia certification and licensed (or eligible) with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals. Salary is subject to standards within the Faculty of Dentistry based on appointment status.
