The Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, is seeking to recruit a Staff Psychiatrist, Consultation-Liaison. The successful candidate will hold an academic position as a Clinician-Teacher (or Quality / Educator) and must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The effective start date is July 1, 2022.
The primary responsibilities include providing consultation-liaison services for transitional rehabilitation patients at the Humber River Reactivation Centre and Pine Villa, as well as offering addiction psychiatry and pain psychiatry consultations at the Bayview site. The incumbent will join the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry team and participate in inpatient, outpatient, and general outpatient psychiatric care.
Based on a fee-for-service structure, with additional funding through Academic and Educational Trust Funds and/or departmental administrative roles.
