About The Role

As a CBRE Transaction Management Sr. Manager, you will manage a team that provides ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a complex or high‑profile portfolio of properties on behalf of our corporate clients.

As a CBRE Transaction Management Sr. Manager, you will manage a team that provides ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a complex or high‑profile portfolio of properties on behalf of our corporate clients.

This job is part of the Brokerage job function. They are responsible for the leasing of primarily industrial properties with some office and retail properties on behalf of clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare, negotiate and formalize letters of intent, offers to lease and leases in collaboration with and under the direction of the Senior Leasing Manager.
  • Monitor all existing tenancies in the portfolio and their lease expires. Negotiate and complete lease extension agreements in advance of maturities;
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines.
  • Implement complex real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals. Assist with project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client‑driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.
  • Act as a landlord or seller agent effectively negotiate the business terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of the leasing transactions. This includes negotiating leases and lease amendments, monitoring lease expirations, and negotiating lease renewals in time as well as coordinating a negotiation through a field broker.
  • Understand the industrial markets and individual sites thoroughly; which would require site visits from time to time as well as gathering market intel from CBRE research.
  • Coordinate with property management to ensure that all sites for which you are responsible for are in good condition and determine strategies to improve their physical condition in terms of appearance and operation
  • Closely track transaction and project activity. Record all savings results achieved on behalf of clients. Prepare reports and make presentations to relevant parties.
  • Maintain a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion; prepare reports and make presentations to relevant parties.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline. Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate salesperson license required.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations.
